Entry #7 Fresh
The film fresh is a documentary that was filmed by Ana Sofia
Joanes. This film mainly focuses on sustainable agriculture and follows farmers
and entrepreneurs who are influencing Americas food system. This film’s purpose
is to inform and strike information to all Americans of what they are
consuming. The documentary introduces viewers to a diverse group of individuals
who have chosen an alternative path, stepping away from industrial farming and
embracing regenerative agriculture. These farmers become the protagonists of the
narrative “Fresh” that challenges the prevailing share their stories and opinions
of modern agriculture.
"Fresh"
prompts viewers to reconsider their relationship with food and encourages them
to question the long-term implications of their choices on the broader food
system. In my opinion I believe that small-scale farming/organic farming is a
lot healthier and sustainable than modern farming. America is blinded by convenience
and doesn’t consider the harm it is causing themselves and the earth.
Nice way to emphasize the point at the end. but yeah local farmers apear to be by far a much healthier than industrial.
ReplyDeleteI do believe small scaling farming is the best way to go for healthier and sustainable food, but like you said my people fall victim to the convenience.
ReplyDeleteFresh does give an amazing insight into the way of farming and how everything goes down. I also believe small scale farming is better due to their being a lot less you have to manager and take in for account- Kayden Brown
